Happy Holidays

Hello all,

So I am killing time at work and I started thinking about the holidays, mainly the big ones at the end of the year that rhymes with Hank's Living and Isthmus (Isthmus is a narrow strip of land connecting two larger masses of land) and it occurred to me that I will have two families at this time. This was pretty exciting to think about. What was more exciting is that this enabled me to used cheaptickets.com to plan a fake trip. Now, many people find that planning trips to be boring or frustrating, but I love it.

Let me run down for all my thought process. This will help you see how much I love problem solving in regards to taking time off work and celebrating with food:
1) "Where are we going to go and when?"
2) "How about one family for Thanksgiving and the other for Christmas?"
3) "Thanksgiving isn't as good as Christmas"
4) "Plus the cost of two trips around holidays will break our bank"
5) "How about one giant Christmas trip because I believe the Hunt family has their giant Christmas gathering before Christmas Eve and the Senkowskis (or Janiffs) do their party on Christmas Eve?"
6) "Ian you brilliant and handsome man!"

So just to let all of you know I have found a deal that will let Lisa and I visit both, yes BOTH, families on Christmas for just over $700 a piece. That may seem like a lot but check this out, to fly to only South Bend would cost us over $500 and to Palm Springs would be around $450 (prices are similar for both Christmas and Thanksgiving). So by my logic, by visiting both families at Christmas, we would be saving $250. Makes sense, right?

Sorry to be so off topic but seriously, my job drains my soul if I don't preoccupy my time with more fun ventures. I guess I could use this time for wedding stuff but I think I heard Lisa wants to do all of that on her own with no help from me.

I love you all.

Ian
